On Friday we had our first cooking class for kids at The Garden of Eva. Lots of healthy fruits and veggies were ready for the children to prepare and try. The highlight was Mr. Khoh who brought and opened a durian with his machete.
We did some fruit smoothies with bananas and coconut water, we made almond milk, tried the natural sweetener Stevia, prepared some pretty raw food decorations and the kids mashed their own potatoes with coconut milk. Healthy food is easy to make and tasty, also for children. And although many of the kids in the beginning said that they don't like this or that or they didn't want to try it, in the end almost everybody tried - and liked - the newly discovered flavours. And most of all, they enjoyed playing on our farm, and with our animals.
